The Comprehensive Plan is a blueprint for the City to follow as we grow in the future.  We want to make sure that we have enough land for people to build homes, for businesses to locate and expand, and for the necessary manufacturing and other industrial uses to develop.  This blueprint is a 20+ year plan that gives our best assumptions about what the future might bring to Evans, and allows us to talk about land uses, railroad uses, highway expansions, annexations and other issues.  This document was adopted by the City Council on February 16, 2010 and will be updated every few years.
